Dr. N.G. Berrill

A forensic psychologist based in New York, Dr. Naftali (N.G.) Berrill serves as Executive Director of The New York Center for Neuropsychology & Forensic Behavioral Science.

NY Forensic provides psychoeducational, neuropsychological and forensic evaluations for individuals referred by the courts and Justice Department.

Dr. Berrill has been an adjunct assistant professor in the graduate program in forensic psychology at the City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice for over two decades. He holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. He has post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology from Georgetown University Medical School/NRH.

Over the course of his career, Dr. N.G. Berrill has partnered with a variety of health organizations and other entities as a consultant or attending psychologist. Previously, he provided consulting services to the New York City Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence and served as a clinician and consultant working to classify personality disorders in association with research being done at the Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Berrill conducts an active practice focusing on a variety of forensic matters in New York City and can frequently be seen on local and national news programs commenting on issues related to violent crime, sex offenses and forensic psychology/psychiatry and the court system.
